December 4, 2019 marked the completion of an 8 month Leader Basic Training Program at the AEN-Rancho Cucamonga Forging Operations in Southern California. Over the course of this program, 120 Leaders and Future Leaders from across the organization participated in 9 learning modules covering everything a leader needs to be successful in their role including Building Team Engagement, HR Policies and Procedures, Lean 101 & Daily Problem-Solving, as well as Finance and IT. TMG developed the training curriculum, prepared and scheduled 12 individual instructors, tracked 12 Leader Teams through the training sessions as well as conducting a Problem-Solving project and presentation to the leadership team. The Rancho Leader Basic Training Program is now being replicated at other facilities across the Arconic business.
