NEWPORT NEWS, VA – June 12, 2020 – In the midst of a global pandemic, TMG met as a small group for our June 2020 Mid-Year Summit with masks on and seated 6-feet apart. At this meeting, we were able to plan for the remainder of 2020, but most importantly, we improved the TMG Team by onboarding a new teammate, Eli Vanner. Vanner, a retired US Air Force Master Sergeant, has proven to be an invaluable addition to the TMG Team. Before beginning his onboarding journey with TMG in February, he spent three years at Newport News Shipbuilding on the Engineering Planning Team. Most recently, at TMG, Eli assumed the Operations Officer role for the Seaspan project, working in conjunction with Doug Smith as his Program Manager. In addition to his new role, Eli will also join the upcoming 757 Greenbelt Class to attain his Green Belt Training, which includes Leader Development, Cost Savings Project Execution, and the Cross-Pollination of Industry Best Practices. His workload will be full, but we have high hopes for a great future for Eli.

Please join us in welcoming Eli to the TMG Team.
