Hampton, VA – April 9, 2019 TMG is proud to announce the continuance of our partnership with New Horizons Regional Education Center and The Good Life Solution Program. The NHREC / TMG Team has created a strong and beneficial relationship over the past 15 years and especially in the last 2 years with the Pilot Year Kick-Off of The Good Life Solution (GLS) Program in October of 2017. Since then, the GLS Team has worked with over 30 local employers in Southeastern, VA, to increase employer engagement and recruitment of senior high school students in the Advanced Technical Careers Academy of NHREC. This increased employer engagement led to 35 students being hired by 9 different companies in May of 2018. 24 of which are still currently employed at those companies a year later. This year (SY 2018-19) we have grown to 30 Employer Partners who are expected double the numbers of ATC Academy hires from the previous year. TMG would like to thank Casey Roberts, Executive Director of NHREC, for his trust and continued partnership as we move forward together to continue the Mission of the Good Life Solution.
