2018-2019 NHREC Good Life Solution Program Kickoff

January 17, 2019—Hampton, VA Year 2 of the Good Life Solution Program has come to the mid-way point at the New Horizons Regional Education Centers Butler Farm Campus at the Mid-Year Employer Partner Program Review. The TMG/NHREC/Employer Partner team continues the mission to energize the local economy by creating a ready to learn entry level workforce pipeline enabling employers to re-capitalize their workforce through recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining NHREC CTE Completers.

1 Employer, 1 Job, 1 NHREC Graduate at a time.

30 Local Employers in the Manufacturing, Construction, and Automotive Industries have now pledged to hire ATC Graduates out of the CTE Program of New Horizons Regional Education Center. The success of this program spurs from the substantive and meaningful EMPLOYER PARTNERSHIPS that will help to create a customized CTE training experiences, based upon the local employer’s entry level job requirements. The focus is on THE EMPLOYERS.

Our Employer Partners have been focusing on recruiting in the classrooms at New Horizons over the last 3 months and their efforts have resulted in 120 Interested Candidates that plan to submit applications for full time employment to our 30 Employer Partners over the next few months. Employer Partners will then identify the candidates that they would like to interview which will lead to contingent job offers in April.
