In May 2019, Arconic Engines Savannah Forging Operations will kick-off their 2nd class of Green Belt Training & Certification to continue their efforts to apply the Lean and Six Sigma tools to realize significant costs reductions and savings. There are currently 15 students in the training and the Savannah Leadership team has committed to training another 15 of their teammates who will complete a Green Belt Project that will follow the DMAIC model and have an immediate payback to the business. The TMG Team is proud of the accomplishments the Savannah Team has achieved in since starting our relationship in April 2018 and look forward to many successes as we enter the 2nd Half of 2019.
