DESCRIPTION:Attention all Virginia Higher Education Institutionsand companies interested in Virginia’s Universities Value Vets!!! \nAttend this UV2 conference to learn more about UV2 and what it will do to help create a professional employment pipeline of our Nation’s veterans who not only committed to serving our country but also committed to furthering their education and entering Virginia’s workforce. \nOn May 8th James Madison University hosted the Virginia’s Universities Value Veterans (UV2) Inaugural Conference to bring together Virginia’s higher education community for a day to focus on Student Veterans. The objective of the UV2 program is to collectively improve our ability to attract Veteran applications\, enroll\, orient\, facilitate integration into the student body\, graduate\, and fill Virginia’s increasing need for professionals who are also among America’s finest—the next greatest generation. \nAt this December 19th conference\, the UV2 Program will take the next step by announcing the Certification Criteria at Virginia Commonwealth University and enrolling the first class of UV2 Certified Schools.   \n \nWho Should Attend: \n\n\nVirginia’s Four-Year Public Institutions\n\n\n\n\nCommunity Colleges\n\n\n\n\nCompanies of all sizes who wish to lean more about the UV2 Program.\n\n\n  \n
