DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nDESCRIPTION\n\nThe Lean journey to consistent near-perfect performance has two pillars; Continuous Process Improvement and Respect for People.  Leading across the horizontal value stream is one of the most difficult leadership environments especially in the Supply Chain where they sit exactly between the supply chain and our organizations need for products and services to meet customer demand.  The best Procurement Specialists are leaders in every way but the title.  An overwhelming amount of organizational effort is spent measuring\, managing\, and controlling the business process often described in cost\, schedule\, quality\, safety.  These are all lagging performance indicators.
